Fisheries officer presents new book in Metchosin

Fish tales told by oft-decorated fisheries officer

Despite never having seen a salmon before his move to B.C., Randy Nelson has since become the most decorated fisheries officer in the history of B.C.

Nelson will be telling his fish tales from a 35-year career this Friday (Nov. 28) and signing copies of his new book, Poachers, Polluters and Politics: A Fisheries Officers Career at the Metchosin Community House.

The event starts at 7 p.m. at 4430 Happy Valley Rd. and is free, though donations to the Metchosin Community Association are always welcome. For more information, call 250-478-5155.
