Colwood council has agreed to help fund a mural at Wishart elementary by donating $3,500 from its arts reserve.

Vice-principal Tim Murphy was joined by several Wishart students and spoke to the importance of the project at a recent council meeting.

The schoolB次元官网网址檚 staff and parents advisory committee raised the other $3,500.

Coun. Cynthia Day recalled the previous mural when her kids were attending the school.

B次元官网网址淚t really did form a part of the community B次元官网网址� this is going a long way to bring back some life into the community that was lost,B次元官网网址� she said.
