The competition, for work from the 2022 calendar year, saw almost 800 entries in 27 categories ranging from photography to overall excellence.

Taking the top spot for Best Multimedia Breaking B次元官网网址 Coverage, was the Saanich B次元官网网址B次元官网网址� work on the June 2022 Saanich bank shooting.

The news team also picked up Best Multimedia Feature for the Goldstream GazetteB次元官网网址檚 truth and reconciliation series. That series ran in all of Greater VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 papers, as well as online with video.

In total, Black Press Media publications were honoured with 26 awards, including nine first-place finishes.
