I earned my journalism degree at Carleton University and served as a reporter at the Orleans Star in Ontario before moving to B.C. to join the newsroom of the Ladysmith-Chemainus Chronicle. Following that, I served as a reporter and editor of the Abbotsford Times and assistant editor of the New Westminster Record/Burnaby NOW.
