The annual Show of Hearts telethon to help raise funds for kids in B.C. with complex care needs is set to kick off later this month, featuring a laundry list of Canadian talents set to hit the stage.
In its 58th year, the telethon sets to raise money to support children with health and mobility aids, therapists, counsellors, tutors and necessary adaptive equipment. Last year, the telethon saw more than 9,500 donors and raised $11.1 million, which provided life-changing care for 21,000 children across 240 communities in B.C.
The telethon hopes to raise an even higher total this year.
