Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty are a couple who takes care of the school-age character Scootaloo (My Little Pony)

Coinciding with Pride Month, the Discovery Family cartoon series B次元官网网址淢y Little PonyB次元官网网址� has introduced a same-sex couple on the show for the first time.

Writer-producer Michael Vogel told People on Thursday the timing of the episode, B次元官网网址淭he Last Crusade,B次元官网网址� is a happy coincidence. The episode introduces a lesbian couple, Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty. They care for Scootaloo.

The episode has already aired in Europe and will be broadcast in the United States on Saturday. In May, the animated childrenB次元官网网址檚 series B次元官网网址淎rthurB次元官网网址� on PBS showed the gay wedding of ArthurB次元官网网址檚 teacher, Mr. Ratburn.

Co-showrunner Nicole Dubuc told Buzzfeed B次元官网网址 the core of B次元官网网址淢y Little PonyB次元官网网址� is to embrace what truly defines a family B次元官网网址� love.
