Brandon Twaites and his Zone 3 (Fraser Valley) team are looking to bring home the gold in wheelchair basketball, his final opportunity at the BC Winter Games.

The Pitt Meadows native has medalled in past, but it looking to finally be the top in the province.

Fraser Valley is 3-1 and locked in second place, meaning theyB次元官网网址檙e playing in the semi-final against the number-three seed on Saturday night at Quesnel Junior School. The game starts at 5 p.m.

While Twaites wants to win, he also wants his teammates to enjoy the experience of getting to play in the games.

Twaites has been playing wheelchair basketball for 10 years now. He loves the game and how everyone in the sport comes together.

If Twaites and his Zone 3 team win the semi-final, theyB次元官网网址檒l play for gold on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
