The Westshore Wolves will have to wait until next year to howl again.
The Victoria Cougars knocked off the Wolves 7-3 in Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League action at Juan de Fuca Arena on Tuesday night to take the second round best-of-seven playoff series four games to none.
The Wolves kept it close after one period, getting goals from Rylan Ball and Jordan Martin to counter three from the Cougars.
Victoria put the game away in the second with three more goals and made it 7-2 just 29 seconds into the third. James Severs tallied for the Wolves late in the game.
