The Westshore Warriors Peewee squad won their second consecutive undefeated Island championship.
The Warriors, part of the Greater Victoria Minor Football Association, won the Island Cup during the fall football season and the Gold Cup in the spring season.
Team manager, Dave Meade, said the group has been playing together for three years and this was their last year together before half the team moves up to junior bantam. He said the boys were able to rack up the wins because they stayed humble and approached each game anew.

The players are positive towards one another and hold each other accountable, and he said thereB次元官网网址檚 never any shortage of parent volunteers. All parents support each player too, thereB次元官网网址檚 no favouritism, B次元官网网址測ou canB次元官网网址檛 tell which child belongs to the parent,B次元官网网址� Meade said.
A core group of players were instrumental in the undefeated seasons at defensive tackle, defensive end, fullback, running back, quarterback and linebacker positions.
All the players on the team are from the West Shore and Sooke, so most of them will go to the football program at Belmont Secondary and have the chance to play together again.
