The Westshore Rebels beat the Kamloops Broncos 34-20 in their game over the weekend.
The Rebels (2-2-1) and Broncos (0-4) played a four-point game, after their game on Aug. 18 was rescheduled due to poor air quality from forest fires.

RebelsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ running back Khaliel James scored a touchdown, helping the Rebels to a 7-0 start in the game. Kicker Kyle Clarke scored a field goal to put the team up 10-0 in the first quarter.
The Broncos answered back with their own touchdown to end the first.
Cody Holmes, RebelsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ wide receiver, scored the second touchdown of the game. Holmes was back after serving his one-game suspension after he was involved in a brawl against the Vancouver Island Raiders at the end of August. Receiver Nathan Falito caught a pass for another touchdown, giving them a 24-7 lead at halftime.

RebelsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ receiver Kaine Stevenson scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, putting the Rebels up 31-12. Clarke scored the final points of the game for the Rebels with a field goal.
Next up for the Rebels are the Langley Rams at Westhills Stadium this Saturday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. The Rebels beat the Rams in their first game of the season 19-16.
