The annual South Vancouver Island Basketball Association Seniors Classic all-star games saw players from across the Island do battle on the courts at UVicB次元官网网址檚 Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities.
North Island teams won all three games on the day. One of those was an 81-61 decision in the girls contest, where BelmontB次元官网网址檚 Claire Church scored nine points and Jessica Thomsen two for the South.
The North beat the South 80-68 in the boys B次元官网网址楢B次元官网网址� game, in which BelmontB次元官网网址檚 Jackson Leeder scored eight and Edward MilneB次元官网网址檚 Frederick Moeller hit for 14 points. The BulldogsB次元官网网址� Ryan Backhouse was kept off the scoreboard.
In the boys B次元官网网址楤B次元官网网址� game, Team North scored an 82-64 victory. Royal BayB次元官网网址檚 Ben Ousey and Spencer Bourne scored two points each, while Brady Greenwood of Edward Milne had five. The RavensB次元官网网址� Davey Sundher also coached the B boys team.
