To say that Seb Temple had his best stuff on the mound that day would be an understatement.
The 11-year-old pitcher with the Victoria Seawolves threw a perfect game against Ridge Meadows in the 11U AAA division at the Abbotsford Mid-Summer Classic baseball tournament on the weekend.
Temple struck out 14 of the 15 batters he faced. At the same time, his teammates took care of business with the only other out at first base in a game that was shortened to five innings because of the mercy rule.
Temple, who plays for a Triangle Athletic Association team of Sooke players during the regular season, played with a Seawolves team of players from around the region for the tournament.
