Short-lived start for XFinity racer Reaume

Driver with Highlands roots sits 35th in driver's standings on junior NASCAR series

Former Highlands resident Josh Reaume had a tough day at the NASCAR XFinity SeriesB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ Kentucky 300 on Friday, finishing 37th after suspension problems forced him out after just 10 laps.

Reaume, who began the season as the No. 1 driver for the Obaika Racing team but was dropped earlier this year, sits tied for 35th overall in the driverB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s standings, having raced for independent teams the past few races. His best finish so far is 29th place in the Great Clips 250 at Michigan International Speedway.
