There is just no stopping the Westshore Rebels as of late.
After losing 19-15 in their season opener against the Okanagan Sun, the Rebels havenB次元官网网址檛 lost a game since and they continued that streak with a 57-14 win over the Langley Rams in their playoff opener Saturday.
The home side took a 14-0 lead with 1:03 to go in the first quarter thanks to a touchdown from Nate Skeete but the Rebels werenB次元官网网址檛 finished there. With 9:54 remaining in the second quarter, Kaine Stevenson added another for the Rebels to make it 21-0.
After the halftime break, the Rebels came out hard on the defensive side of the ball. Brandon Gandire scored a pick-six to make it 28-0, continuing the RebelsB次元官网网址 domination.
But the Rams pushed hard to get on the board and scored with 5:11 left in the third quarter to make it 28-7.
Not to be outdone, WestshoreB次元官网网址檚 Scott Borden added another with 1:40 left in the third quarter to make it 35-7 and the defence stepped up with another big interception with 11:18 remaining in the final frame.
The Rebels added another two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter to make it 50-7.
But the game wasnB次元官网网址檛 finished there, with a little more than two minutes left in the game, the Rebels added a third touchdown, putting Langley on the ropes. But the visitors came out hard, adding a late touchdown to make it 57-14.

The Rebels will take on the Vancouver Island Raiders on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at Westhills Stadium.
The Raiders beat the Okanagan Sun 15-8 on Sunday to advance to the B.C. Football Conference Cullen Cup final.
