The football club couldnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t fend off the undefeated Langley Rams
at Westhills Stadium last Saturday.
On a day celebrating family fay with superheros in attendance, the Rams special teams seemed to be kryptonite to the Rebels. The Rams scored four TDs on special teams.
The Rebels started the game on a good foot with a drive down the field capped off with a 29-yard pass from quarterback Hunter Lake to Nick Spindor to lead 7-6, then the Rams came together on offence with six offensive touchdowns.
The Rebels team did manage another touchdown and a field goal to cap off the night with 16 points and held their penalties to the lowest amount of the season to drop them to 1-3 on the season.
The Rebels host the Chilliwack Valley Huskers at Westhills Stadium tomorrow (Aug. 23) at 1 p.m.
The game celebrates amateur football with half-price tickets for players under the age of 18 wearing a community team jersey.
