A former Westshore Rebels player will be catching more than some rays in California, after deciding to attend and play football at Chabot College.

Hunter Lake, who spent five years with the Rebels, takes his soft hands to Hayward, Calif., where the Chabot Gladiators play in the National Valley conference of the California Community College Athletics Association.

The versatile offensive player snagged 51 receptions for 708 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver in 2015. He threw for 2,762 yards and had 18 touchdown passes as a quarterback over the past two seasons with the Rebels, and was named to the B.,C. Football Conference first all-star team in 2015.

Boice, who used his connections to pave the way for Lake to join the Gladiators, said the college is expected to support him financially, but because it is a B次元官网网址渄ead timeB次元官网网址� for recruiting in the NCAA, details were unavailable.
