Pacific FC player Djenairo Daniels was hospitalized after a clash during the teamB次元官网网址檚 2-0 loss to Forge FC at Starlight Stadium on Friday (July 21).

The Dutch striker went up for a header against a Forge defender shortly into the second-half and fell to the ground. Medics loaded Daniels onto a stretcher after a lengthy period of treatment on the field, during which players from both teams returned to the locker rooms to wait for the game to resume.

The incident made a bad evening worse for Pacific FC, who slumped to a 2-0 loss against their Hamilton-based rivals. Two first-half goals put the Tridents on the back foot, and despite consistent pressure, PFC could not make their way back into the game. The home team out-shot Forge 21 to 6, but both teams only managed three shots on target.

Despite the loss, Pacific FC remains top of the Canadian Premier League, now tied on points with Forge at 26, with PFC ahead due to their better goal difference. Cavalry FC could unseat PFC at the top of the table if they beat Vancouver on Saturday (July 22).
