Standout Okanagan Sun running back Elelyon Noa has signed with the BC Lions.
In his 2024 season with the Sun, Noa had 1,612 rushing yards breaking the single-season conference record previously held by former Lion Jamel Lyles (1,604 yards in 2016 with Westshore). Noa had 23 touchdowns and was awarde BCFC Outstanding Offensive Back and Outstanding Offensive Player honours.
In November, the Sun lost 37-22 to the St. Clair Saints in the Canadian Bowl, the championship of the Canadian Junior Football League.
Noa is a native of La Mesa, California. In his senior high school year (2016) he broke the programB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s career rushing mark set by Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush which had stood since 2003. Noa began started his college career at Utah State in 2020-21. He then moved to Boise State for his junior season.
He joined the Sun in 2023.
