Hundreds of spectators thrilled to both amateur extreme riders and veteran free ride mountain bikers at the annual Jumpship event, held over two days last weekend for the first time at Bear Mountain Golf Resort.
The radical featured riders contested their runs down a steep hillside and over a series of big-air jumps, to be judged by their peers on degree of difficulty and speed.
In between the featured events, amateur riders young and not-so-young lined up to launch themselves down a half-pipe style run that allowed them some serious air time to twist their bikes and land in a giant airbag.
