LangfordBԪַs Pacific FC announces youth camps and open trials in Mexico

The camps offer young talent in Mexico a chance to showcase skills and potentially join the club

The camps will take place in Mexico City, Puebla, Ciudad Juárez, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, Metepec, and Guadalajara. Open to male and female players born between 2009 and 2012, the camps aim to provide opportunities for young talent in Mexico to develop their skills.

Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) will hold youth development camps in seven cities across Mexico as part of the clubBԪַs international youth training programs.

The camps will take place in Mexico City, Puebla, Ciudad Juárez, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, Metepec, and Guadalajara. Open to male and female players born between 2009 and 2012, the camps aim to provide opportunities for young talent in Mexico to develop their skills.

The club will also launch the second phase of its Who Got Next? open trials, to be held in Metepec, on Dec. 8. These trials offer aspiring soccer players in Mexico the chance to showcase their skills and potentially join Pacific FC. Players over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

Chris Merriman, assistant coach clubBԪַs first team, will evaluate participants, with the opportunity for successful candidates to earn an invitation to the teamBԪַs 2025 pre-season camp and possibly secure a professional contract.

Between 10 and 16 youth players selected from the Mexican camps will be invited to Victoria to train at Pacific FCBԪַs first-team facilities and compete in a tournament against Canadian teams.
