In-person fundraising events make a big return to Victoria Grizzlies, Q Centre

Feb. 12 home game vs. Coquitlam will see a number of events for the Help Fill A Dream Foundation

When the Victoria Grizzlies face-off against the Coquitlam Express at the Q Centre on Saturday, Feb. 12, theyB次元官网网址檒l also be taking a shot to Help Fill A Dream through a number of crowd-involved events and opportunities.

The first in-person fundraising event since 2019 will see $5 from each adult and $3 from each youth ticket purchased donated directly to the Help Fill A Dream fundraiser. B次元官网网址淐huck-a-puckB次元官网网址 will also contribute to the fundraiser, with participants vying for a special prize pot of $1,000 courtesy of BC Transit. Fans will also have a chance to B次元官网网址渟hoot-to-winB次元官网网址 a car from Galaxy Motors. Finally, an auction for that nightB次元官网网址檚 commemorative jersey designed by Grizzly Jackson Morehouse, golf and fishing charters and speed skating lessons will be held.

The Hyatt Foundation has pledged to match the first $15,000 raised for Help Fill A Dream on Feb. 12.

The Help Fill A Dream Foundation benefits families whose children have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness or experienced a critical injury. The night of the game, the Q Centre will be operating at 50 per cent capacity and enforcing social distancing. Proof of double vaccination and government-issued ID will be required for attendees age 12 and up as per the provincial health order.
