Surrey Eagles get the Spittin' Chiclets treatment in a new video posted by the popular hockey podcaster.
The unfiltered, F-bomb-filled video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Scott Gomez-coached BCHL team with Paul "Biz Nasty" Bissonnette, former pro player turned broadcaster.
Biz joins in on meetings, workouts, and even gets to run his own drills. He hears "Gomer" talk about his NHL days, goes over team strategies, skates with the junior players and teaches some of them how to fight.
Known for irreverent opinions and being outspoken, Bissonnette filmed at South Surrey Arena a couple months ago, according to team co-owner Ron Brar.
Posted to Youtube on Thursday (Jan. 23), the 22-minute video had more than 35,000 views just hours later.
Warning: the video below contains frequent coarse language.
Bissonnette tweeted: "A massive thank you to Scotty Gomez, Mike Mottau, the amazing staff & players of the @SurreyEagles for having me at their facilities to see how they handle business. Scotty is one of a kind & the game of hockey is lucky to have him."
Gomez, a two-time Stanley Cup champ, is , after one season as an assistant. The Alaska-born "Gomer" starred in South Surrey nearly 30 years ago, during the 1996-97 season.
