The latest Mount Douglas Rams football player committed to a major Canadian university on Monday as linebacker Soren Hallschmid committed to play for the University of Western Ontario Mustangs.
At 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Hallschmid has a combination of size, strength and speed that Western really likes, said Rams head coach Mark Townsend.
Hallschmid is also capable of playing other positions including defensive end, Townsend added.
