West Shore-reared goaltender Alec Dillon posted victories in his first two U.S. Hockey League games with the Tri-City Storm in Kearney, Neb.
The Los Angeles Kings 2014 draft pick and former Victoria Grizzlies and West Shore Wolves netminder stopped 23 of 24 shots in a 3-1 win over the Fargo Force last Saturday.
He gave up just one goal and made 34 saves in his USHL debut, a 3-1 win over the Omaha Lancers back on Sept. 14.
The Storm, one of 16 teams in the junior hockey-style USHL, open their regular season Friday (Sept. 26) in Lincoln, Neb. against the Stars.
Dillon, 18, has a college scholarship with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. starting in the 2015-16 season.
His Western Hockey League rights are controlled by the Edmonton Oil Kings.
