Duncan product Graedy Hamilton dropped the puck on his first-ever NHL game on April 7 when the San Jose Sharks played host to the Arizona Coyotes at the SAP Center.

Hamilton wore No. 41 and worked alongside a veteran officiating crew of referee Pierre Lambert and linesmen Trent Knorr and Ryan Gibbons.

Hamilton, 23, was offered an NHL-Minor League contract in the summer of 2023 ahead of the 2023-24 season. He had spent the last three years officiating in the AHL. Previously, he spent four seasons in the WHL after six in the BCHL. He also officiated the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship and the CHLB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Top Prospects Game.

Following his debut, Hamilton went on to officiate the Edmonton Oilers-Colorado Avalanche game on April 18.
