Cougars, Braves hand out team awards

Goalie Tanner McGaw named MVP of the Saanich Braves season

Following the Victoria Cougars silver medal finish at the Cyclone Taylor Cup on Sunday the club held its annual year-end banquet on Tuesday, handing out the seasonB次元官网网址檚 award winners.

The Saanich Braves also recently released their award winners at the teamB次元官网网址檚 year-end banquet.

The CougarsB次元官网网址� Steve Axford and BravesB次元官网网址� Ty Jones shared their respective teamsB次元官网网址� top scorer awards, having tied for the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League scoring title with 75 points each.

Goalie Tanner McGaw was named the BravesB次元官网网址� MVP for appearing in 35 games and playing the most minutes in the league, 2,018.
