Colwood team healthy and stealthy

Nine teams competed in the inaugural Royal Bay Invitational Futsal tournament last weekend at the Colwood high school.

Healthy and stealthy Members of the Fruit Ninjas were among nine high school and staff teams that competed in the inaugural Royal Bay Futsal Invitational in Colwood. A combined Royal Bay/Dunsmuir staff team took home the trophy with a convincing 4-1 win over Team International. Futsal is an indoor version of soccer with five-a-side teams. The Fruit Ninjas, comprised mostly of Grade 9 students, finished fourth and took home the team spirit/crowd favourite award. Photo contributed

Nine teams competed in the inaugural Royal Bay Invitational Futsal tournament last weekend at the Colwood high school.

A combined Royal Bay/Dunsmuir staff team took home the trophy with a convincing 4-1 win over Team International. Futsal is an indoor version of soccer with five-a-side teams.

The tournament served as a fundraiser for the RavensB次元官网网址� junior and senior girls soccer teams.
