The Belmont junior boys basketball team is off the provincials, thanks to three wins in four games at the Island championship in Campbell River last weekend.
The Bulldogs secured third place with a 73-51 win over Mark Isfeld secondary from Courtenay, a 63-42 decision over St. MichaelB次元官网网址檚 University School and a 69-48 triumph over Dover Bay secondary from Nanaimo.
Although the team was disappointed with the 76-36 semi-final loss to Brentwood College, Bulldogs coach Curt Spaven said they are pleased with the overall results.

The boys junior basketball provincial championship takes place Feb. 27 to March 1 at the Langley Event Centre.
