The Belmont junior varsity football Bulldogs will be looking to get on the winning track today (Sept. 30) in Vancouver when they face the Vancouver College Fighting Irish.
The Bulldogs dropped their league opener 31-0 to Lord Tweedsmuir last week at Goudy Field. The senior Bulldogs, 36-27 losers to South Delta last week, are on the mainland to play the Fighting Irish tomorrow.
The JV and varsity Bulldogs head to Mount Douglas next Friday (Oct. 7) for key crosstown rivalry games against the Rams, starting at 12:30 (JV) and 3:30 p.m. (varsity).
The teams' next home games at Goudy happen Oct. 13 (1:30 p.m. kickoff) when the Terry Fox Ravens JV visits, and Oct. 14 (3:15 p.m. kickoff), when the varsity Dogs host Carson Graham.
