If ever the West Shore RCMP have a chance to peek in what BԪַmovesBԪַ through our area of Langford, they will have a field day.
In the early hours of each day and in the late afternoons, some car drivers seem to consider Walfred Road a race track. They enter either from Happy Valley Road or Jacklin Road, whatever the case.
I estimate that some drivers hit speeds of 80 to 90 km/h. And with school started again, our Happy Valley elementary school students are at risk. Is there no consideration for the safety of others? It must be said, however, that the driving behaviour of the dump truck drivers is to be admired. They stick to the speed limit.
