Questions dodged in HST phone call

I received an automated call from the Liberal government HST forum and was advised that if I wished to ask a question, I should stay on the line. A Liberal cabinet minister introduced the forum by stating its purpose was BԪַto make the HST work for usBԪַ by BԪַproviding as much information in an unbiased form.BԪַ

I pointed out that the process was biased because this minister had already voted over a year ago to impose this tax grab.

I also pointed out that the original job creation claim of 141,000 jobs by 2020 was now reduced to 24,000. I then quoted ex-finance minister Carole Taylor as stating it is ideological in that it is a major tax shift from corporations onto individual taxpayers.

In response, the minister re-stated the referendum question and suggested I  continue listening.

Why are taxpayers and not the B.C. Liberal party paying for this multi-million dollar pro-HST propaganda exercise?
