In response to the letter to the editor dated July 11 (B次元官网网址淕iving out free parking passes a poor use of CRD resourcesB次元官网网址�) the Capital Regional District would like to clarify that staff did not and do not give out free passes.
Bylaw Officers do at times distribute Pet Emergency Preparedness decals to vehicles with dog carriers and did so at Thetis Lake Regional Park on July 1.
We appreciate the writerB次元官网网址檚 concern about the prudent use of government resources and can assure residents that it is our first priority.
