LETTER: Sidney residents should know that raising chickens is a messy job

Whoever wants to keep hens in Sidney should first demonstrate that they know how to kill a chicken, pluck it, and eviscerate it. I remember from my childhood what a messy job that is, and I only did the feather plucking.
