So that people donB次元官网网址檛 have the wrong impression after reading an election pamphlet sent to anonymous friends in the Langford-Juan de Fuca district: it is not legal to consume illegal drugs anywhere outside a safe consumption site.

Following the letter of the law, it is not legal to enter school grounds outside of school hours unless there is a school function or other authorized use. Kids playing in the field: okay. Dogs dropping poo wherever: no. Addicts dropping bags of fentanyl: not a legal use anywhere. Public consumption of legal drugs such as tobacco and alcohol is also restricted.

Since the number of people ignoring such laws far outnumbers the number of officers we can afford to police them, public education is an important piece of the solution. Public education, which includes driver training and tests, does more to reduce traffic accidents than policing the highways.

Misinformation is not public education, and distracting people with a false narrative is not honest. Since so many people are breaking the law, another piece is to figure out why and what needs to change. Continuing to do things that have not succeeded in the past is unlikely to lead to success in the future
