I can sympathize with Stanley Tromp that it is not BԪַfunBԪַ standing in an unsheltered lineup for a BC Transit or Translink bus at the BC FerriesBԪַ terminals.
Rather than having to build something new, however, why not simply get the bus drivers at each end to be in their buses once the ferry arrives? I take the ferry back and forth to Vancouver for regular doctor appointments and in many cases, there is a bus sitting there, no driver around and people have to line up and wait for this situation to change.
While coming home from one of my recent trips, a rather rude driver would not even tell me which of the two buses was a number 70 or 72 and went off somewhere after securing his bus.
Instead of waiting for him to return, I took a cab home which defeated the purpose of trying to promote transit use in this region.
