In politics, a rose isnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t a rose

There are in all parts of the province those who may have been fooled as was I in making the assumption the B.C. Conservatives were a spinoff of the federal Progressive Conservative party. As it turns out the Reform party members of B.C. hi-jacked the Conservative name in order to rebrand themselves.

This has all come to light following the public comments of their leader John Cummins concerning homosexuality being a choice. IB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™m a progressive conservative and I canB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t support the Archie Bunker anti-abortionists or those that think being gay is a conscious choice.

Brian Peckford became an advisor to the party last year. It is my hope and expectation he, being a progressive conservative, will recognize the party has come under the control of archaic-thinking Reformers.
