Does View Royal need a helping hand to balance taxes?

As a new resident to View Royal, I am surprised at what are already extremely high property taxes for here.

I am very concerned to have read the letter in the Wednesday, May 16 Goldstream B次元官网网址 Gazette (Re: B次元官网网址淢ore information needed for fire hallB次元官网网址�) regarding View RoyalB次元官网网址檚 financial situation and future property tax implications. As a new resident to View Royal, I am surprised at what are already extremely high property taxes for here. Is it too small a municipality to cope on its own? Perhaps View Royal would be more efficient and effective as part of Langford or Saanich. Is it time for View Royal to send a survey to its residents to decide what may serve the municipality best, before 2012 property taxes sky-rocket?
