BOUQUET: A bouquet of 60 red roses to Maria Manna of Bear Mountain who sings from her balcony every night at 7 p.m. in support of front line workers. This is done at no cost to anyone (but herself), her voice is wonderful and she has been doing this for over 60 nights, rain, cold or sun. You will find her performing live every night at 7 p.m. on Facebook B次元官网网址揗aria Manna B次元官网网址 or YouTube. Enjoy and be thankful along with Maria for those front line workers!

BEEF: To the person who dumped all their garbage furniture and garbage bags full of junk by the donation bins at Dunsmuir Middle School B次元官网网址 which have been closed since COVID - 19. This is an eye sore and with kids going back to school this week not a welcome sight. Take your garbage to the dumpB次元官网网址o one wants a stinky old couch that is torn up.

BOUQUET: To our federal and provincial governments for doing a great job in caring for citizens and businesses during these unprecedented times. When we look down south we are so grateful to be in Canada and especially B.C. We are not only relatively safe from COVID-19 compared to the 100,000 deaths and counting in the U.S. but the governments have done a great job in providing financial aid to the majority of citizens that require help. During the regular updates it is very obvious that our leaders truly care about our well being. Anyone feeling that our governments havenB次元官网网址檛 done enough just need to look south and be grateful that we are Canadian.

BOUQUET: Sending a beautiful bouquet to Island Health home care. Their friendly competent people arrive morning and evening to assist my 103 year old mother, and the visiting nurse comes during the week. They enable hundreds of older people and disabled people to remain in their own homes, and their service is enormously valuable to our greater community.

BEEF: A big beef to those bikers who use sidewalks forcing us walkers to move off onto roadways. Why canB次元官网网址檛 you use the bike lanes that thousands of dollars have been invested into for your enjoyment and leave the sidewalks to pedestrians that are walking.

BOUQUET: I know that flag persons are always getting a bad rap but I would like to thank the ones that worked on Colville Road during the early months of this year. I pick up an elderly lady 3 mornings a week for various activities. She has a hard time walking due to a broken hip and once the girls and guys realized that they were more than helpful in making room for me to park in front of or near her home for pickup and drop off. They continually smiled and waved to us and on more than one occasion even held her arm to navigate through the precarious situation. We both really appreciate the effort made by these guys and girls.

A BOUQUET to local businesses B次元官网网址 in particular, those with shopping carts B次元官网网址 who are providing sanitizer wipes so customers can disinfect the carts.

BOUQUET: For parents who are doing as much as they can, take a breath, spend time with your kids. Thank you to the custodians who are being extra vigilant to clean our schools. But especially, thank you to the students who miss their friends, their structure, their school communities.

BEEF: To the lady at Tim HortonB次元官网网址檚 on Jacklin who basically laid one into a few teens sitting in their car because she had an issue with where they parked. Drive on and mind your own business. Our kids are doing their best considering the times we are in.

BOUQUET: To the staff at Red Barn on Latoria. Having extra gloves and sanitizer at the front entrance makes me feel like they are doing their part to keep everyone safe. The staff are always so pleasant and always ask how IB次元官网网址檓 doing.
