BOUQUET: Thank you to Real Canadian Superstore for providing a hand washing station at the exit to their store. It has been there for several weeks and I appreciate being able to wash my hands after I shop there. Also appreciate the way they have organized the checkout system and the staff are very cheerful and helpful.

BEEF: I donBԪַt know where to turn to voice my opinion. Victoria has always been classed as a BԪַnearly wed, nearly deadBԪַ city. It took years to have sidewalks, taxis, stores, etc. made wheelchair accessible. Now weBԪַre taking accessibility away from seniors or people who have mobility issues. Wanting to close part of the lagoon to cars, Beacon Hill Park and now part of Government Street, is discriminating as far as I am concerned. What happened to making it easier to access, not harder. Any advice of who to talk to?

BOUQUET: to the volunteers who have been in the Highlands picking up the cut scotch broom during the month of May. We appreciate being able to dispose of the invasive plant in our neighbourhood.

BEEF: A big beef to the drivers on Metchosin and Wishart roads. School zones are back in, and driving 80 km/h through a school zone is not very safeBԪַslow down.

BEEF: Spotted a dog walker in Colwood Creek Park throwing his poop bag in the big evergreen tree near the entrance of the park. ThereBԪַs a garbage can right thereBԪַUSE IT!!

BOUQUET: A bouquet to the families of the two boys (ages 8-10?) that were bike riding on Friday afternoon on Happy Valley Road near the firehall. They were such polite boys and were very safe in the crossing of the road. They came to a complete stop, waved a few cars by, and then proceeded with care across the roadBԪַwalking their bikes. ItBԪַs great to see kids having fun out on their bikes and being safe doing it.

BEEF: A HUGE HUGE beef to the people that are throwing their dirty gloves and masks all over parking lots and in shopping carts throughout the West Shore at different shopping centres. Good grief, is it that hard to take your garbage home or find a trash bin?

BOUQUET: A big bouquet to the person who paid for my break at Tim Hortons on Island Highway on Saturday, May 30 around 7:30 a.m. ish. You made my day!

BOUQUET: A BIG HUGE BOUQUET to my nephew who is on the spectrum and never ceases to amaze me with his love for his family and community. ItBԪַs hard right now when hugs are frowned uponBԪַbut I will never let you stop hugging me buddy. You make my heart sing and my eyes smile every time I see you running up to give me a hug. I will take all the hugs that you canBԪַt give to your friends right now and hold them tight until you can share them once again.

BOUQUET: I would like to send a BIG Bouquet to the wonderful staff at Dollarama on Goldstream Avenue, and the WestShore Town Centre. Thank you for keeping the shelves well stocked and dealing with the long lineups. Thank you for your smiles in this difficult time. May you be safe, may you be healthy, and may you be happy.
