BOUQUET: To the staff at Save-On-Foods on McCallum Road for being so pleasant and diligent with COVID-19 protocols. As a senior I feel like everyone is becoming complacent in their social distancing and the staff at Save-On-Foods are keeping their protocols in place and making me feel safe. Thank you!
BEEF: To Colwood council for limiting parking on Ocean Boulevard by closing a section of the road. On Sunday, July 5 at 1:30 p.m., I counted 200 cars parked from the corner of Lagoon Road to the first closure heading towards the bridge. People were not able to practice social distancing. Colwood council needs to open the road so social distancing can be practiced.
BEEF: To all those owners of large diesel pickups with the mufflers removed. In this day and age where quiet time is harder to come by, the large decibel noise coming from your trucks is VERY irritating, to say the least! Why do you need to have SUCH a noisy truck? What is the appeal other than to upset those who are seeking a little peace and quiet?
BOUQUET: I would like to send a big bouquet to Kylee Booth for making over 100 masks. Kylee, you are such an inspiration, your story touched my heart. Thank you so much, I wish you all the best in life.
BEEF: A huge beef to the two pre-teens who I saw Thursday, July 9 around 5:45 p.m. on Goldstream Avenue by the Goudy branch library, picking the flowers out of the flower beds to make a bouquet for themselves. People work really hard planting those flowers to make downtown Langford look nice. You should be ashamed of yourselves and IB次元官网网址檓 glad I told you off for picking the flowers. I hope you get caught and have to replant them all.

BEEF: To the young people speeding along Metchosin Road, passing on a solid yellow line on a blind curve en route to a beach party the evening of July 6, putting themselves and others at risk. Parents, was it your child driving a light grey Jeep (CL on the license) with a N classification, or your child driving a navy blue Mustang (JT on the license). There were four people in the first car, two in the second. What a tragedy could have occurred or might occur in the future for a few minutes of bravado.
