BOUQUET: A big thank you to Sam and Justin from Langford Fire Rescue who came and helped us when my husband fell in our home. They were very professional, kind and thoughtful. Very much appreciated, thank you!

BEEF: ThereB次元官网网址檚 no excuse for cyclists to ride single file or two or three abreast on the Galloping Goose at 40 km/h and faster, verbally abusing people who donB次元官网网址檛 get out of their way. Signs indicate priority goes to walker/runners. You want to ride fast? Take the highway. Perhaps cyclist speed limits should be in order on the Galloping Goose, or more police bike patrols.

BOUQUET: To the couple and the woman who stopped to help me after I did a face plant during my run on the Goose near Wild Ridge Way and Happy Valley on the morning of Oct 21. I regret not getting your names, but thank you so much for your care, offer of a ride and company while waiting for my husband to pick me up. My nose isnB次元官网网址檛 broken! To the couple: I very much hope that the woman who fainted is well and this was simply a reaction to the sight of all that blood. Overall, hope you all take care, and I suppose this was one way to meet new people in these interesting times!

BOUQUET: A big thank you to Don from Double D Sportswear for giving away masks on the Upside Show with Ed & Jeff. What a very kind and thoughtful action to help keep us safe during COVID. Hopefully, local people will support this local business.

BEEF: To the driver of a black minivan on Glen Forest Way in Metchosin who felt 50 km/h was not fast enough when stuck behind a municipal truck and passed it on a solid line. That road has many bends and you put yourself and oncoming traffic at risk.

BOUQUET: To our community who, in these challenging times, are making great effort to support local businesses. Remember Amazon, Wayfair and larger corporations DO NOT directly put money back into our community. With the holidays coming up please continue to support local.

BOUQUET: A hundred roses to MOD pizza. That story I read in last weeks Goldstream Gazette pulled at the heart strings and I know where IB次元官网网址檒l be buying my pies from now on.

BEEF: To the little buggers outside our apartment on Jacklin Road. It was 2:30 a.m. on Saturday and it was no treat trying to fall asleep to your foul language and yelling!
