BOUQUET: I would like to send a bouquet to the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre for reopening the pool. I attended my first aquafit class this week and it was so good to be back in the water. They have good protocols in place and I felt very safe there. Thanks for caring for our community.
BOUQUET: A bouquet to the residents of the Centennial Park neighbourhood who canvassed residents, phoned in and emailed to ask for Langford city council reconsideration of the two 12-storey apartment buildings proposal at the public hearing Jan. 18. Thank you also to council members who listened and requested a reduction of the height to six storeys on second and third reading of the bylaw. The height is still more than most wish, but compromise is what we were looking for.

BEEF: Driving into Westhills on Sunday near the roundabout by Glenwood Meats I took a left onto Parkwood Creek Estates. I was dumbfounded, as there were people just walking across the road with no respect for the cars. Jaywalking and not looking for vehicles seems extremely dangerous or are their egos just that big that they feel they donB次元官网网址檛 need to use crosswalks or cross the road?
BOUQUET: A big bouquet to Devonshire Convenience store. Could the owner be more pleasant? Always a smile, and always quick service. A staple on that corner for many years. Thanks for being so happy and pleasant all the time.
BOUQUET: To the gentleman who paid for my coffee at the Starbucks located at HullB次元官网网址檚 Field. You made my Friday and I will pay it forward on pay day this week to someone in the lineup with me!
BOUQUET: To the owners of the boxer that visited BosleyB次元官网网址檚 Pet Foods in the Westshore Town Centre this past Sunday. He was a very happy boy and allowing him to interact the way you did with the staff made me smile. That breed of dog has always made me curious as they always seem to be so happy and full of energy, are they ever a breed that calms down and donB次元官网网址檛 want the affection?
BEEF: Writing one more time about my beef with people dumping their unwanted goods on side roads in Metchosin. On Glen Forest Way and Happy Valley someone dumped their old fireplace off behind the post boxes. Who does that? You know who you are B次元官网网址� get rid of your garbage the right way!
BOUQUET: To the couple walking on the Galloping Goose Trail by Luxton, thank you for helping me to calm my kids down last Thursday. It was an emotional parenting moment for sure as they did not want to leave a park and were being typical kids by screaming and crying as we walked back (or tried to walk back) to our house. The moment you smiled and said hi and asked the kids a question about how they enjoyed their walk it took them out of their moment and made for a much more enjoyable walk back home. For all the mamas out there, I think they know how much this can be appreciated.
BEEF: Just another beef about traffic on Sooke Road with all the construction. The upside? IB次元官网网址檝e been exploring more of Langford discovering different ways to get around it. Any ideas when this will be complete?
