BOUQUET: I would like to send a big bouquet to a person who works at the Fairways post office. I think her name is Shelicia (not totally sure but I hope I have it right!). I stood in that post office line for some long periods in December, along with many others, and as a result I got to watch people handling our parcels, taking orders, helping people with their stamps and packages over and over.

It seemed like Shelicia was working a lot over that month B次元官网网址 she was there each time I was. I was amazed that her sense of humour and good nature never seemed to waver, even with scores of people in front of her and many boxes behind her!

At one point she even offered to phone me to tell me if a parcel I was hoping for came in, and she did! What postal person does that? So now I go there deliberately to mail parcels. Even though I am not too happy with the postal service over these holidays, I was inspired by Shelicia and hope she reads this. I hope her bosses know, too, as that is real customer service!

BOUQUET: A huge bouquet to the person in a black pickup truck who paid for my latte at Starbucks HullB次元官网网址檚 Field on Christmas Eve and asked the employee to say B次元官网网址淢erry Christmas.B次元官网网址 That meant so much, thank you.

BOUQUET: To the young man driving the silver car leaving the B.C. Ferries terminal Sunday, Jan. 10. You caught my attention as we came to a red light to let me know my brake lights were burnt out. Thank you, as I had no idea and we all know this time of year we need those lights working. I had them replaced right after that. Thanks for stopping me and letting me know.

BEEF: To the man driving the red Ford F-150 heading north on the Malahat on Friday, Jan. 8 at around 5:45 p.m. You raced past me swerving in and out of traffic. I hope you made it to your destination at least five minutes ahead of the traffic you were putting in danger. Why people race on this road is beyond me. Taking your life and other peopleB次元官网网址檚 lives in your hands is not cool!

BOUQUET: A huge bunch of roses to the gentleman in the Tim Hortons drive-thru at West Shore Town Centre B次元官网网址 Thanks for the coffee on Friday. I was having a really bad morning and this cheered me up. IB次元官网网址檒l pay it forward!

BOUQUET: A big thank you to the young man that offered assistance to me in the Walmart parking lot on Saturday, Jan. 9 at approximately 9:30 am. I had found myself with a flat tire and was waiting patiently for BCAA to arrive. With this crazy time that we are all dealing with, it is so nice to know that there are people out there that are willing to lend a helping hand. Thanks so much, you made my day!
