Here are this weekB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s thank-yous and gripes about happenings in and around our West Shore community:
BOUQUET: to the very pleasant young man who saw me struggling with a shopping cart on the gravel path in front of London Drugs at Colwood Corners on July 10. He came to my assistance and carried one of the three ceramic planters in my cart to my car so they wouldnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t be damaged bouncing around. He then helped load them into my vehicle. Your help and kindness were very much appreciated. Thank you so much.
BIG BOUQUET: to Danny at South Island Mechanical, who recently serviced my heat pump. He was so pleasant and courteous, as well as knowledgeable and professional. I am so very grateful for the service he provided.
BEEF: ItB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s frustrating riding my bike, people donB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t share the path on the Galloping Goose trails near Matheson Lake and Gillespie. Riding side by side the trail gets narrow and rocky at parts, and it puts people at risk of injury. Go single file we all need to keep safe.
BOUQUET: to everyone responsible for that magnificent work of art on the wall west of the Heritage Library at the Langford Y. It is an absolutely joyful and uplifting experience to see all the little paintings and how it has been combined into a totally new picture. Truly amazing B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ thank you.
