Here are this weekB次元官网网址檚 thank-yous and gripes about happenings in and around our West Shore community:
BEEF: Many older people enjoy the Sunday Music in Veterans Memorial Park. I use a cane, and carry a chair, bag for knitting and a book. Now Langford is taking the Masonic Lodge for green space. Where will I park as I cannot walk far? Saturday market vendors carry crates of boxes along with baked goods and produce. They need convenient parking as do customers.
HUGE BOUQUET: to the lady working the express line at Costco on the morning of June 28. The lady assisting us was very helpful and assisted in scanning heavy and large items. We didnB次元官网网址檛 feel rushed in any way. She was so kind and helpful. She definitely made our day.
BEEF: to the woman who took such offence to my horn when backing out of her yard and not looking around. You know the one who followed a recently widowed elderly women into the cemetery to scream at her and tell her she thinks she was rude. Let me tell you what is rude. A cemetery is not the place to scream and yell at someone. Get a handle on your anger before it really gets you in trouble.
BOUQUET: to MLJ, local author of Intrabit One World, for the fun read. CanB次元官网网址檛 believe you wrote it in a week. I like how it flows like the poems you speak. Wish you all the peace.
BEEF: Has anyone else have a bad experience or fall at Colwood Corners parking lot in the past two years or am I the only one? As a pedestrian who lives in Belmont Park I find it challenging and dangerous getting from A to B. As a motorist do you find it challenging and confusing? The obstacles we face daily getting across this small parking lot show complete disrespect for our safety, our seniors, mobility challenged, military families and community.
