Here are this weekB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s thank-yous and gripes about happenings in and around our West Shore community:
HUGE BOUQUET: to The Clear Choice Plumbing. You guys are amazing. Thank you for taking extra TLC to accommodate my needs.
BIG BOUQUETS: to the three women and two gentlemen who came to my rescue when I fell in front of the Tim Hortons at Westshore Town Centre on Christmas Eve day. One woman held her umbrella over me while another woman went to get my grandson (21) who was waiting in the car. One man and woman helped me up and the other man got my coffees replaced by Timmies. As a 71-year-old, I canB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t say how appreciative I was for all the help you gave me. One of the gentlemen even said that we are Canadians and thatB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s what we do. I was too shaken up to get your names but you know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
BOUQUET: to Quality Foods in Langford for keeping the parking lot cleared of snow. Best customer service ever.

BOUQUET: A big thank you to Dave, who helped me get out of a tough situation. I was blinded by the sun on Atkins Road just before the Galloping Goose crossing and he knew exactly how to manoeuvre my Jeep off the cement barrier without causing damage. Thanks again for your quick work and stopping to help me.
BIG BOUQUET: to Jan at Fix-It Auto for smoothing out scratches on my car and then not charging me.
BOUQUET: I am grateful to my neighbour Jamie, who used his snow blower to clear my long, steep driveway.
