A 93-year-old Saanich woman suffered non-life threatening injuries Tuesday morning after a 19-year-old driver from Surrey, B.C. had backed her vehicle into her.

Woman spent a few minutes trapped under a car at University Heights this morning until she was freed by first responders.

The incident happened at around 11:20 a.m. in the parking lot of the Save-On-Foods location part of the University Heights mall at the corner of Shelbourne Street and McKenzie Avenue.

B次元官网网址淭he pedestrian was knocked over and hit her head on the ground,B次元官网网址� said Sgt. Jereme Leslie.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigators, he said.

Crews later transported the pedestrian to a local area hospital with what Leslie described as B次元官网网址渘on-life threatening injuries.B次元官网网址� No charges are pending at this time, he said.
