The West Shore RCMP is seeking the publicB次元官网网址檚 assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene after allegedly hitting a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Goldstream Avenue in Langford. According to a media release, the driver came to a red light and was about to make a right turn onto Veterans Memorial Parkway but hit a woman in the leg, causing her to hit the hood of the car. The vehicle stopped briefly before taking off onto Veterans Memorial Parkway.
The woman described the vehicle as burnt orange in colour, with a similar body shape of an older model Pontiac Firefly. No license plate number was obtained.
