Police needed a couple of attempts Wednesday to apprehend a 32-year-old Langford man with an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
The man, who was known to police, was spotted late yesterday afternoon by an observant Langford bylaw officer, who contacted the RCMP. Officers found the man on Matson Road off Goldstream Avenue and arrested him, but the suspect escaped custody after a struggle.
With the help of a bystander, officers took the man into custody again at around 5:20 p.m.
