The West Shore RCMP caught two thieves in the act who were trying to steal a utility trailer from the driveway of a Colwood home over the weekend.
On Saturday at around 2:50 a.m. police responded to a report of two suspicious people in the back of a Colwood house. When police arrived, the two suspects, who are known to police, fled, but were caught after a short foot pursuit.

After searching the suspectsB次元官网网址� vehicle, officers also found other stolen property from the home.

Matthew Baker of the West Shore RCMP. B次元官网网址淏oth suspects were actively engaged in criminal acts [and] we got them off the streets.B次元官网网址�
Thirty-three-year-old Justin Goeujon of Sooke and 24-year-old Crystal Thorne of Nanaimo were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. Thorne was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Victoria.
